On this page you can read about our personal data policy, which describes how Simply Chocolate Copenhagen ("www.shop.simplychocolate.dk", "us", "our", "we") collects and processes information about you.

Below you will find the personal data we collect. We also describe the purpose of the collection and the legal basis for the processing.

When you visit www.shop.simplychocolate.dk, we automatically collect information about you and your use of the Website. We register e.g. which type of browser you use, which search terms you use, your IP address, including your network location and information about your computer.

The collection has no other purpose than to optimize the user experience and functions on www.shop.simplychocolate.dk, just as we use the information to target our marketing on various channels, for example Google Adwords. It helps us to offer our users the most relevant content. The legal basis for the processing is the EU Personal Data Regulation, art. 6, par. 1, letter f.

When you buy a product or communicate with us at www.shop.simplychocolate.dk, we collect the information you provide yourself. This can be name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, payment method, information about which products you buy and possibly have returned, delivery requests, as well as information about the IP address from which the order was made.

The purpose is to deliver the products you have ordered and otherwise fulfill our agreement with you, including to be able to manage your rights to return and advertise. We can also process information about your purchases to comply with legal requirements, including for bookkeeping and accounting. When making a purchase, the IP address is collected for the purpose of preventing fraud. The legal basis for the processing is the EU Personal Data Regulation, art. 6, par. 1, letters b, c and f.

Newsletters

If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect information about your name, e-mail address and possibly mobile number. The purpose is to enable us to deliver newsletters to you. The legal basis for the processing is the EU Personal Data Regulation, art. 6, par. 1, letter f.

Recipients of Personal Information

Information about your name, address, e-mail, telephone number as well as order number and specific delivery wishes is passed on to the carrier responsible for the delivery of the purchased goods to you. When purchasing non-stock items, the mentioned information can be passed on to the manufacturer or seller of the item in question, who will then take care of the delivery.

Information can be left to external partners who process the information on our behalf. Collaborators may not use the information for any purpose other than fulfilling the agreement with us, and are subject to confidentiality regarding this.

Your rights

At any time, you have the right to ask us to be informed of what information we have registered about you, for what purpose, who has received it, and where the information comes from.

If you wish, we will provide a copy of the personal data that we process about you. You can ask for the information by sending a written request to digital@simplychocolate.dk. In this connection, we may ask you to document that you are the person you say you are.

The right to rectification

Deletion of personal data

Information collected in connection with your registration for our newsletter is deleted when your consent to the newsletter is withdrawn, unless we have another basis for processing the information.

Security

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures against personal data being accidentally or illegally destroyed, lost, changed or degraded, as well as against unauthorized access or misuse.

Only employees who have a real need to access your personal data to perform their work have access to it.
